We believe the family is an integral part of every child's
education. As such, we are always pleased to work in concert
with families towards the shared goal of helping their children
achieve more. Here are a few of the comments we have received
since beginning this endeavor:
"I would like to take a moment to tell you how great this past school year has been for
[our son]. It is amazing to see the progress he has made in such a short period of time.
This school and your teachers have made such a positive impact on his life both
academically and socially. To go from a child who was constantly in trouble and being
sent home from 'traditional' preschool, to one that actually excels at school and enjoys
himself, is the best thing a mother could watch happen. [He] is going on to Kindergarten
this fall - something I thought would be at least a year away due to his age and behavior
at previous schools. But, he is truly ready. When [he] was tested, he actually surpassed
most children coming out of kindergarten. I owe all that to you, your school and your
wonderful teachers. You are truly the best school for this age group around. I do and
always will recommend you to anyone that asks me about preschools. Thank you so
...We have one down and there are four more to go. I look forward to many more
years to come."

only help the work
going on, as servants
wait upon a master."

"We enrolled our daughter at Jane's Academy for preschool midway through the
academy's first year. Without realizing it had a name, we had organically taken a
Montessori approach to teaching [her] at home by expounding on what held her interest
from day to day and week to week. We are very satisfied with the educational
framework and tools the academy provides. [She] has expanded her field of interests and
has continued to build an understanding of the potential of core subjects such as science,
math, art and language. Equally important, she has benefited immeasurably from the
guided social experience. Within her first month she went from being inhibited around
kids her age to being decorous. Jane's Academy has helped her develop a flexible
balance between herself and her group that we, by ourselves, could not."

"Our aim is not only to make the child understand, and still less to
force him to memorize, but so to touch his imagination as to enthuse
him to his innermost core."

"Thank you and all of your teachers for being so pro-active and attentive to [our
daughter's] individual needs! I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised we were to hear
of all of the effort her teachers were putting into her. They have been giving her an
individual education and meeting her where she is academically, rather than feeling she
doesn't need as much attention since she has mastered many of the preschool skills.
When we were looking at preschools for [our daughter], we were very concerned that
she would not be challenged, but we are very pleased that this has not been the case with
"We have come to appreciate and trust the opinions and expertise of all of the teachers
that [our daughter] has had the opportunity to come in contact with at Jane's."

"We decided to enroll our three year old daughter after meeting with Tammy and
researching the Montessori approach. Since [our daughter] is very shy, we were a bit
nervous about how she would respond to her new setting, but she ended up loving to get
to school everyday.
Over 18 months at Jane's Academy, she learned to make decisions and interact
peacefully with her peers and teachers. [She] has a great
love for nature, the environment and health because of her time spent
at Jane's Academy. We can't thank Tammy and her wonderful staff enough for taking
great care of our daughter."

"My son has been going to Jane's Montessori Academy for the past 15 months, and we
are very happy with the progress he made. He is basically very shy and his not knowing
the native language made hum unable to socialize with others when we went out. But,
after attending Jane's there has been a tremendous improvement in his confidence. For
instance, he asks me to recycle paper and plastic, grow plants, clean his own mess, etc.
He has also become more independent. Thank you Jane's Academy."

"I want to thank Tammy and the whole staff at Jane's for the wonderful work they did
with my daughter.
We had previously taken her to another early childhood center and had constant
problems. She did not fit the typical mold they want your children to be in. She has
always refused to nap and that was a huge issue everyday. It was beginning to effect her
self-esteem. She had started to become known as a difficult child. Being a first time mom,
I was shocked. I thought I had a child who wasn't normal! I am so glad I pulled her out
of there and found Jane's! I soon realized, I did not have a problem child; I had chosen
the wrong school.
She had the privilege of being a Jane's student for the past three years. The teaching staff
worked with her to develop her own creativity, problem solving, behavior modification as
well as academics.
She has thrived in the environment at Jane's and is well ahead academically, mentally and
is more mature than most of the other students in her 1st grade class. Jane's gave her the
confidence to use her own mind, develop her own thoughts, and work through situations
I would recommend Jane's Montessori to any one looking for early childhood education!"
